We had so much fun with this cowgirl as she was willing to play dress-up and put on the rain slicker and hold the rifle for this photo. The original background was too busy so I changed the background to the mountain. These mountains are behind her house but she is far away and there are buildings in the view. I had the ride of my life today! My friend Gunilla and I rode our horses up to see the wildflowers and the waterfall in the Catalina Mountains. It was like riding in a fairyland with all the beautiful flowers around us. The horses were perfect and make the ride so enjoyable.
I think the horses enjoyed the ride as much as we did! The got to cross and drink from the mountain stream and sneak a few mouthfuls of flowers.

This waterfall was one of the reasons for our ride today and it was beautiful. Water is such a treat in the desert. We have had a lot of rain and snow and the streams are all running.

I should have pushed down the throadlatch for this photo...I have a new bridle and the leather is still stiff. If you look in the distance you can see Gunilla up the trail, that is why Winn is looking so alert...his friend is escaping into the unknown.
